1. Agreement and eligibility
By selecting “I agree” and using a signed-in Vela feature, you enter into these Terms with the Vela platform operator. You confirm that the account information you provide is accurate and that you have legal capacity to agree. If you are a minor or act for an organisation, you confirm that any legally required guardian or organisational authority has been obtained.
2. What Vela provides
Vela provides appointment booking, shop administration, staff and service configuration, availability, deposit-evidence review, customer history, subscription administration and referral tracking. Shops—not Vela—provide the advertised salon, barber, nail, massage or other appointment service. Vela may change or improve features while preserving material paid functionality or giving reasonable notice.
3. Accounts and security
- Use your own authenticated account and keep access secure.
- Do not share manager access, impersonate another person, bypass permissions or access data you are not authorised to see.
- Notify Vela promptly about suspected unauthorised access.
- You are responsible for actions taken through your account unless caused by Vela’s failure to use reasonable security.
4. Customer bookings
Customers must provide accurate contact information, select intended services and times, attend or cancel responsibly, and follow reasonable shop policies shown before confirmation. A booking is subject to shop availability and may remain pending until required deposit evidence is reviewed. The shop may reject, reschedule or cancel a booking for legitimate operational, safety or payment reasons. Repeated no-shows, fraud, harassment or abuse may result in a shop-specific booking ban or platform restriction.
5. Deposits, payments and refunds
Vela displays payment instructions configured by the shop and allows receipt upload. Unless Vela expressly introduces a regulated payment service, money is transferred directly between the customer and shop; Vela is not the bank, payment processor or escrow agent. The shop is responsible for verifying deposits, issuing receipts where required, and clearly stating cancellation and refund rules. Payment disputes should first be raised with the shop.
6. Shop-owner and manager responsibilities
The account owner remains responsible for the shop workspace and actions of invited managers. Managers must act within the permissions granted to them.
- Keep shop identity, location, contact details, services, prices, durations, staff, availability, closures and payment instructions accurate.
- Use role permissions carefully and remove access that is no longer authorised.
- Provide services lawfully, safely and with all licences, qualifications and consumer disclosures required for the business.
- Handle customer data only for legitimate shop purposes, protect receipt images and financial details, and respond to applicable privacy rights.
- Honour confirmed bookings and clearly communicate cancellations, deposits and refunds.
- Do not publish misleading claims, prohibited services or content that infringes another person’s rights.
7. Subscription and approval
A new shop must meet Vela’s approval requirements before public launch unless the platform administrator has enabled automatic approval for a limited demonstration. An approved shop receives the displayed free-trial period, currently one month. After trial, the current standard fee is ฿500 per shop per month. Vela may pause public booking if payment is overdue, approval is withdrawn or use creates legal, safety or security risk. Fee changes will be communicated before the next affected billing period.
8. Referrals
Where the referral programme is available, an eligible referrer receives the displayed share—currently 5% of subscription fees actually collected from an attributed shop—under the programme rules. Attribution must be genuine, cannot be self-referral, and is recorded when the shop enters the referrer’s email during onboarding. Vela may withhold or reverse amounts connected to fraud, refunds, chargebacks or prohibited conduct. Tax obligations of referrers remain their responsibility.
9. Acceptable use
Vela may investigate and remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, shops, the platform or legal compliance.
- Do not break the law, facilitate unsafe or prohibited services, harass others, upload malware or interfere with platform operation.
- Do not scrape, reverse engineer, probe security, automate abusive traffic or attempt to bypass booking limits, bans or permissions.
- Do not upload unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing or unnecessarily sensitive content.
- Do not use Vela to send unsolicited marketing or sell personal data.
10. Your content and platform rights
You retain ownership of content you provide. You grant Vela a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce, display and process it only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service and comply with law. Vela and its licensors retain rights in the platform, software, design and branding. These Terms do not permit copying or reselling the platform.
11. Availability, disclaimers and liability
Vela aims to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every shop, customer, booking, payment instruction or uploaded receipt is accurate. To the extent permitted by law, Vela is not responsible for the quality of shop services, direct customer-shop disputes, indirect losses or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protections. Any liability will be assessed under Thai law and the facts of the claim.
12. Ending use, changes and governing law
You may stop using Vela and request account or shop deletion, subject to records that must be retained by law. Vela may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, fraud, safety, security or legal reasons, normally with notice where practical. Material changes to these Terms may require a new acceptance. Thai law governs these Terms. The parties should first try to resolve disputes in good faith; unresolved disputes are subject to the competent courts of Thailand. Contact: phoomipat.u@gmail.com.
